VANCOUVER, BC / AUGUST 4th, 2015 / GLOBAL COBALT CORP. (TSXV:GCO, OTCBB:GLBCF, FRA:3P0) ("Global Cobalt" and/or the "Company") is pleased to announce that on July 31st, 2015 the Supreme Court of British Columbia granted an interim order (the "Interim Order") authorizing and directing Global Cobalt to call, hold and conduct the Annual General and Special Meeting (the "Meeting") and to submit the plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement") for shareholder approval as described in the
July 30th, 2015 news release.
The granting of the Interim Order was a condition to the completion of the Arrangement. The Arrangement will be considered and voted on by shareholders at the upcoming Meeting set for August 31st, 2015. Additional details of the spin-out transaction will be included in an information circular to be mailed to shareholders of Global Cobalt in connection with the Company's shareholders meeting referred to above.
The Company looks forward to satisfying the remaining closing conditions and successfully completing the Arrangement on or about September 2nd, 2015, the Effective Date.
